The “zero-dong" stalls attracts a great number of union members and workers to shop
According to the organizers, the program is expected to appeal more than 17 thousand union members and workers. At the program, union members and workers can take part in a wide range of both practical and entertaining activities such as legal consultation, career counselling, loan counselling, Ao Dai fashion show, office fashion show, environmental protection fashion show of "Say no to plastic waste", karaoke competition, tug of war, bamboo dance (Mua sap), ball-to-basket challenge, football match, safe driving game, and book storytelling competition, etc.
Union members and employees also have the opportunity to buy essential goods and services and household products at 70 stalls. Notably, they can enjoy unusual discounts up to 10% to 70% at 40 stalls (eg., garment, food, medicine, cosmetics, electronics, telecommunications, school supplies, etc.) and shop free of charge at ‘30 "zero-dong" stalls’ where more than 25,000 new and used products of roughly VND 850 million in total estimated value are exhibited. Also, as many as 8,000 vouchers have been gifted to union members and workers.
At the event, 11 Union Shelters with a total value of VND 450 million and more than 250 gifts, each worth VND 1 million, were given to families of workers with difficulties and those with outstanding achievements in work.
