Contemplating Bach Tra Vien (White Camellia Garden) in "The Royal Bride V"

TTH.VN - After the success of “The Royal Bride 3” - the Vietnamese movie breaking the record of reaching 100 billion VND in revenue, the two directors Bao Nhan and Nam Cito continued to shoot “The Royal Bride V” and chose An Dinh Palace as the main background for this movie season.

Bach Tra Vien is constructed in the area behind Khai Tuong Lau, on the foundation of the old Cuu Tu Dai theater to film one of the movie scenes. The garden was specially designed on a floor frame that covered the foundation ground of Cuu Tu Dai to create a new background that doesn’t encroach on the foundation below. After finishing the filming process, the director Bao Nhan handed over the garden to Hue Monuments Conservation Center to turn it into a destination to commemorate the time that the crew filmed here.

According to the director Bao Nhan, the film crew used over 2.000 pots of white camellia plants, together with various typical fruit trees of Hue, and set up the fountain, goddess statues, and sophisticated-carved walls to make the highlights. An attractive combination of European and Asian classic architectures not only bring about unique colors to the garden but also well express the femininity and the wealthy class of three women of the Ly family.

Let’s contemplate the poetic space of Bach Tra Vien at An Dinh Palace:

As a routine, my friends and I always watch all movies shot in Hue. “We want to see what Hue is like in movies.” I often hear people say so before a movie shot in Hue is shown.
