Countryside flowers come to town

TTH.VN - Phu Mau commune (Phu Vang) has been known as a "flower barn" of Hue for a long time as all of its villages and hamlets grow flowers. Some people grow a few thousands of flower roots, while some others grow a few tens of thousands of all kinds of flowers, such as daisy, lily, dahlia, marigold, and etc., to provide to markets, from wholesale markets to temporary markets in Hue city.

With a long tradition and rich experience, Phu Mau people can grow flowers all year round, in spite of any season. Not only on fifteenth day or thirtieth day of every lunar month, they always have flowers to provide to people in need at any time. As a result, people here have a stable income from planting flowers.

Not far away from Hue city, if you want to visit and check-in at flower villages in Phu Mau, you will have many choices of routes. If you want to experience backpacking tourism, you can go on the green rural roads, or for more romantic feeling, you can go down the ferry to go to the other side of the river.

Thua Thien Hue Weekly would like to introduce you to a corner of Phu Mau flower village through a series of photos of Minh Kiet, a collaborator.

Roaming Bao Vinh in the afternoon

Every time I visit Bao Vinh, standing at the Bao Vinh Bridge with the gentle quiet communal house, whose color has been fading with time, behind the old Bodhi tree, I am filled with mixed feelings beyond description.
