Hue is shimmering and fanciful in the dew

Hue has started the season of damp and chilly days. If you come to Hue in this season, make sure that you won’t let your time “shrink” in sadness. Instead, treat yourself with familiar, simple, and delicious dishes with local people!

Tran Thuy Mai, the author of “Princess Dong Xuan,” has just been honored at the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Art Award (2018-2023). Thua Thien Hue Weekly has a conversation with her.

In 2025, Thua Thien Hue is selected to host the National Tourism Year. This is an opportunity for the tourism of the Ancient Capital to make connections and to show all of its potentials and strengths, contributing to developing its tourism and making it the main economic sector of the province.

In the 2024 Vietnam Art Photography Competition, the Organizing Committee received over 900 sets of photos. Out of these, 73 sets were selected for the exhibition, and 19 sets were awarded prizes.

On October 25, a representative from Thua Thien Hue General Library announced that the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, has concluded and awarded prizes. Thua Thien Hue has won 3 prizes this year.
