The forest will grow green

“Nắng lên rồi cơn nắng tháng Ba. Thắm đỏ lưng trời...” (“The sun is up and it's the March sunshine. It reddens the sky ...”) - it seems that there is hardly any color of sunshine that can be brighter than the one in the days celebrating Hue's liberation, covering the streets from Truong Tien to Dong Ba, from Da Vien to Hen islets.

Birds in the wild enjoy parental or spousal love just as many other wild animals do. Baby birds find it hard to exist without the protection from their parents. The mother birds cry so tragically when they lose their babies.

Green living doesn't need a “sledgehammer”, yet starts with simple actions taken every day. That's how the youth of Thua Thien Hue spread the green lifestyle, contributing to raising people's awareness of protecting their living environment.

This is the topic of an international forum, which was organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) in collaboration with SMC Hue Co., Ltd and the Bespin Global on the morning of December 16 within the framework of the forum themed "Hue Innovation Day" in 2022.

In response to the policy of planting 1 billion trees and celebrating Vietnam's Forestry Day (November 28th), in recent days, forestry units and forest owners have planted thousands of indigenous trees such as green ironwood, cycads, tarrietia javanica blume (huynh), golden oaks, etc. All these plants are able to adapt to climate change and prevent landslides very effectively.
