On the morning of March 16 (February 14 in the Year of the Tiger), Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the Xa Tac Ritual Ceremony at Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City), in order to pray for the nation's peace, good weather, bountiful crops, and people's well-being.

On the morning of February 9, the Huyen Tran Temple Festival – the Year of Tiger 2022, was kicked off at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay Ward, Hue City) by the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports. This is an activity to welcome the Year of Tiger, and the first large-scale Festival in the series of activities and events of the “Four Seasons of Festivals” in 2022.

I was invited to take a ‘Green Hue’ sightseeing trip. Standing on Gia Vien bridge and look northwards on a sunny day, I saw River Huong was supported with different colors: yellow of the Golden Shower tree, scarlet of the Flamboyant, velvet of the crape-myrtle, blue of the sky and green of water. It made me think of a picture of happiness and well-being in the deep memory of more than thirty years: Sinh paintings.

Hong Dieu tangerine is an ancient tree variety whose fruit value and quality has been proven over the years when grown in Luong Quan (Thuy Bieu, Hue City).

In the early days of the New Year 2022, a purple flower carpet, which is beautiful and poetic just like in fairy tales, is attracting many young Hue people to check in.

It seems that when talking about A Luoi (a mountainous district 70km from Hue city), many people are familiar with waterfalls, ecotourism, and community tourism. However, if you have the opportunity to learn about that mountainous land, exploring the caves and tunnels you will also get a full range of emotions.

“Returning to Hue to Eat Rice” is Le Phi Tan’s third book, which has just been published in November. For me, books are always a precious present. More than that, books are sacred.
