On the morning of October 20th, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University (HU) hosted the final match and award ceremony for the Robocon Huet - 2024 competition, themed “Exploring Hue Imperial Citadel”.

Applying digital technology in reenacting and exploring historical and cultural relics has brought various interesting and vibrant experiences to tourists, helping the heritage last with time.

On October 17, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University held the opening ceremony of the final round of the Robocon Huet - 2024, with the theme “Exploring Hue Imperial City”.

Exploring heritage can be done in many ways, but exploring it by bike offers its own unique charm. This is also an exciting experience that provides travelers with interesting and unforgettable sensations.

Located about 30 km north of Hue City, Quang Loi Lagoon (in Quang Loi Commune, Quang Dien District) is an interesting destination of Tam Giang Lagoon, which is the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia.

There are 40 stalls selling typical dishes located in front of the main gate of the market. The shops have signs, menus, pictures, and price listings in Vietnamese and English to help diners conveniently choose the dish.

On the afternoon of April 7th, a seminar titled “Commercial Photography in the era of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Photography Association and sponsored by Yongnuo, a company specializing in photography equipment manufacturing.

Once a massive construction in the past, Phung Tien Palace inside Hue Imperial Citadel was completely destroyed after many historical upheavals. Since 2017, the complex of Phung Tien Palace has been gradually restored through a cooperation project between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany to preserve the remaining structures and revive their original shape and function.

The outdoor exhibition at Phung Tien Palace, Hue Imperial City offered viewers an opportunity to learn about the architecture, spiritual life under the Nguyen Dynasty as well as the cultural, historical and artistic values of this era through virtual reconstruction combined with reality.

Due Son, also known as Mount Le, Mount Re or Mount Ke, has a slightly pointed shape and beautiful form. The Eastern side of the mountain rests on Ta Trach Lake. The mountain is like a guardian god, standing at the upstream source of the Huong River, protecting the land where the Temple of Literature and the Temple of Martial Arts Saint are located.

Hai Duong Commune (Hue City) is considered a most arduous and challenging place with a long coastline to the southeast and Tam Giang lagoon to the southwest. Through many generations exploring the land, establishing villages and settling down, the people of Hai Duong have suffered a lot of pressure from waves and winds; nevertheless, they are still living in harmony with the harsh nature and living on marine products.

Phu Dien beach (Phu Vang, Thua Thien Hue), located about 30 kilometers away from the center of Hue city to the southeast, has a wild and gentle beauty.

Kham Thien Giam - an institution specialized in observing and studying astronomy, weather forecasting, calendar making, and timekeeping to determine the agricultural seasons for the people, was constructed by the Nguyen dynasty during the reign of Emperor Gia Long.

I am sure that Hue will be a very different city if you come to Hue these days. There won’t be tranquil, sorrow days anymore. Hue now is not a city of “getting to bed early” like previous.
