It has been 40 years until the school year 2022 – 2023 that Thua Thien Hue had the first award for Math in the national exam for excellent students. The achievement of Tu Cong Thanh, a Grade 12 student of Class Math 1 of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, has made many people feel confident and hopeful about “reviving” the top-notch math.

On the morning of August 25, Hue University of Education held the opening ceremony of the fourth Central and Highland regional Mathematical Conference. This biennial event is the largest conference of mathematicians and mathematics educators in the Central and Highland regions.
