On October 6, in Phu Da town (Phu Vang district), the Provincial Youth Union organized activities in response to the “Clean Up the World” campaign and the 4th National Green Sunday.

On the afternoon of September 10, at the Hai Van Frontier Post relic site, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a working session on coordination in managing, exploiting, and promoting the value of the Hai Van Frontier Post national relic site.

Once again, Thua Thien Hue Karatedo took the throne with a spectacular return to the top at the 10th Central Region - Central Highlands Karatedo Championship in 2024. Also in late April, 2 athletes Le Van Tinh and Le Minh Thuan are part of the national team to compete at the Southeast Asian Championship in Thailand.

On August 25, at Hue Central Hospital, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health presented the Commemorative medal “For People’s Health” to Prof. Hiroyuki Shichino – Former Heald of Pediatrics Department, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Japan.

“Standing here, you can capture the panoramic view of Hai Van pass, Tuy Van mountain, Cau Hai lagoon and even the magical light of Hue city…” - that was the smooth introduction of an author when he checked-in at Hai Vong Station on the top of Bach Ma mountain. After a temporary closure to repair the route from the foot of the mountain to its top, Bach Ma National Park has welcomed back visitors.

The National Historic Site of Tri Thien Hue Party Committee (located in Huong Van Ward of Huong Tra Town) was inaugurated by the Provincial Museum of History on the morning of October 5th, after 2 years of renovation and restoration.

These days, the old main hall of Dieu De National Pagodais being moved to the back side of the pagoda while still keeping the original state of the painting "Long van khe hoi" painted on the ceiling of the main hall.

Having won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions, Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue City), has just won a silver medal at the 33rd International Biology Olympiad in 2022, held in Yerevan city, Armenia with the participation of 231 contestants from 63 countries and territories.

On the morning of May 17, Nguoi Lao dong Newspaper held a ceremony to present 10.000 national flags and medical equipment bags to the fishermen in the provincial area. Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; Head of Representative Office of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper in the Central Region Dang Hoang Dung.

On the morning of December 7, at Phu Bai Industrial Park, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, Phu Bai Yarn Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of Yarn Factory 3. Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; Chairman of Board of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group Le Tien Truong, and General Director of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group Cao Huu Hieu.
