On the evening of December 16, the National Taekwondo Championship 2021 kicked off at the Provincial Sports Center. In compliance with regulations on prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the championship has being held in the form of a "closed bubble" without audiences, and the opening ceremony was also shortened.
