In commemoration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), on the evening of November 18, the University of Education, Hue University held the final round of the “Student Singing Contest 2024” (HUEdu Singer 2024).

On the evening of November 9, University of Education, Hue University, held the preliminary round of the “Student Singing Contest 2024” (HUEdu Singer).

This activity also provides a novel playground for young people, and offers an additional attraction for visitors and the general public when stopping by the poetic Huong river.

Organizing music programs to raise funds for charity, students from Hue University have partially helped pediatric patients and underprivileged children find motivation to rise in life.

In an effort to continue to preserve and promote the cultural heritage value of Bai choi art, on the morning of August 30th, in Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town), the Department of Culture & Information in coordination with the Department of Education organized a training workshop on Bai choi singing for teachers from preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area of Huong Thuy town.

Born and raised in a poor working family, Le Minh Vu, a young man born in 2000, fell in love with Hue Singing (Ca Hue) from a very early age. That love was ingrained in his subconscious from his childhood days, when he heard the songs and lullabies of the grandmothers and mothers in the neighborhood.

The preservation and promotion of the values of the artistic heritage of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) have captured much attention recently. A dossier “The Art of Hue Singing” has been assembled to submit to the UNESCO to be considered for inclusion in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

“When each face is a rose…” I do not know why I suddenly recalled that sentence from a song when I watched the performance of Ca Hue (Hue Singing) named “Women’s Voice from Inside” at the auditorium for Ca Hue at 25 Le Loi St.

With the flourishing of studios and modern equipment, owning individual music recordings and videos has become a hobby, and an attractive choice for young people in Hue, so as to pursue their passion for singing.

On the evening of July 2, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association held the finals round of the contest “Bolero singing in the Central Region”.

The program "Village having fun, village loving singing", which was performed by amateur actors and actresses from the two villages of Van The and Thanh Thuy Chanh (Thuy Thanh Commune, Huong Thuy Town), made the last day of the “Countryside Market in the Festival” responding to Hue Festival 2022 more impressive, with full of laughter.
