On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of Tet (from January 22nd-24th), Hue Imperial Citadel will be bustling with numerous activities, including the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Ngo Mon Square.

Saying goodbye to the old year and welcoming the New Year of the Cat 2023, Hue artistsintroduce to the public paintings of this year's zodiac: the cat. This is an interesting source of inspiration for artists, a hobby of those who love Tet paintings, as well as a spiritual gift to the public with the wish of a peaceful and happy new year.

On the afternoon of January 14, a group of students from the University of Education under Jeju National University - Korea together with students from Thuan Hoa high school - University of Education, Hue University exchanged and experienced the Vietnamese traditional Tet holiday with many fascinating activities.

On the afternoon of January 7, the People's Committee of An Dong Ward, Hue City held the opening ceremony of the program " Tet of Unity ", the contests of making banh chung, banh tet, and traditional crystallized ginger in 2023 at Dang Van Ngu Secondary School.

The program “Tet holiday in Hue” 2023 held by Hue City will take place in 4 days, from 7:00 on January 14 to 17:00 on January 17 (from December 23 to 26, the Lunar Year of Tiger) at Ngo Mon Square (area adjacent to Quang Duc Gate), on 23/8 street and Le Huan street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue city.

"Tet holiday in Hue" is one of the series of activities to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the Lunar New Year 2023 - the Year of the Cat organized by Hue City.

Having just awarded and closed the "Tet Hue" videos and photos contest, Ngo Phuoc Tuan briefly announced: "This project is to close and other projects will open".

After the Lunar New Year, A Luoi district and Hue City continue to call for donations of peach blossom trees used during Tet to build A Luoi peach blossom garden. The appeal this time call has many differences, at least it being no longer experimental.

Tet (Lunar New Year) of Tiger 2022 is the second Tet that the spring sport activities cannot be organized because of COVID-19. And Hue people will probably recall the two big and typical folk sport activities to enjoy Tet, welcome spring.

After Tet holiday, when high school students get back to school, universities in Hue start launching Enrolment and Career Counselling programs. Nonetheless, it requires careful consideration of how to fit in the reality and create two-way efficiency.
