On the morning of August 27, Vietnam - Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company cooperated with the Provincial Department of Tourism to organize an experience trip to explore Hue City by a convertible double-decker bus for visitors, as well as media and press agencies.

Along with the mission to attract more visitors, Hue Monuments Conservation Center also promotes the restoration of relics for degraded and ruined relics.

On the morning of August 15, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong received the Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, H.E. Nikorndej Balankura, on the occasion of his working visit to Hue.

According to the statistics of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, the number of tourists visiting Hue monuments in the first half of this year has increased sharply after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The week of Hue Festival 2022 has ended, creating positive effects with attractive cultural and art programs, bringing exciting experiences to the public and visitors from near and far.

Though that was already the third time, the project of “Sketching Hue Ancient Imperial Capital heritage” still attracted many artists. Every place they visited inspired them. So far more than 600 drawings had come into being, contributing to spreading and promoting the beauty of the heritage of Hue culture.

On the afternoon of July 2, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum and his family to inaugurate the museum, officially open to visitors. The museum is located at 144 Dang Thai Than, Hue City.

It is forecasted that the end of 2022 would be the earliest possible time for regular European and North American tourists to return to the country; however, Hue has welcomed its first groups of visitors just recently.

Hue Festival Week 2022 with the theme “Cultural heritage with Integration and Development” is about to come to an end, leaving many unforgettable impressions in the hearts of locals and visitors.

As part of the series of activities to respond to Hue Festival Week 2022, from June 20 to 26, the Provincial Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Hexa Media Company organized a media trip called "Visit Hue".
