On the afternoon of December 12th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Edgar Doerig, Head of the Bureau régional pour l'Asie et le Pacifique - Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (BRAP-OIF) (or the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Organization of La Francophonie), and Mr. Aldo de Luca, Deputy Ambassador of Switzerland to Vietnam.

For more than a year, the fact that the bridge over Thuan An sea mouth was constructed has always been a topical issue in Thua Thien Hue. Everywhere I went, people excitedly talked about building a bridge, and in the future, their hometown will have a bridge across the sea at the top of the Central region.

I happened to come across a Facebook post of a friend currently living in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. It read, “seeing seven blooming pink lotus flowers celebrating Vesak on Nhan Co Lake reminds me so much of my hometown - Hue, where Ngu Mountain and the Perfume River reside.”

Of more than 350 artisans from the 69 well-known craft villages across the country participating in Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, artisan Phan Thi Thuan and her booth of the Phung Xa weaving village attracts many visitors because of her unique product: silk from lotus fibers.

Street parade featuring hundreds of artists and participants was one of the main events in the Traditional Craft Festival Hue 2023. The festival space spanned across the city's main streets, where art groups came together and showcased their talents.

Hundreds of traditional folk paintings from famous villages across Vietnam, along with renowned traditional crafts of Hue, have come together by the banks of the Perfume River.

Like many other temples across the country, over time, some pagodas in Hue regularly organize retreats and meditation sessions to bring moments of peace and guide young people in finding themselves.

As the only representative in Vietnam to join the Co-leaders of the project “DIGI: CHANGE” – Digital transformation joint venture in higher education in Vietnam, on February 14, Phu Xuan University cooperated with Liverpool John Moores University and British Council (the sponsor) organized the project launch program, with the participation of more than 60 universities, colleges and high schools across the country.
