On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

The cultural heritage left by the Nguyen Dynasty in Hue, in particular, and Vietnam in general, is extremely voluminous, including historical, cultural, landscape, artistic, scientific, and economic values... Over the years, preserving and promoting those cultural values have been highly appreciated. However, there are still some inadequacies, difficulties, and limitations.

This was the topic of a seminar held on the afternoon of November 29 at Lan Vien Co Tich 2 - an intercultural rendezvous at 94, 96, 98 Bach Dang, Hue City.

The preservation and promotion of the values of the artistic heritage of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) have captured much attention recently. A dossier “The Art of Hue Singing” has been assembled to submit to the UNESCO to be considered for inclusion in the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organizes various cultural and artistic activities at Hue Imperial Citadel to introduce to visitors the special and unique features of the Ancient Capital’s culture on the old days and create vibrant atmosphere for the heritage area.

The cultural land of Hue has always had cultural messengers who are folk artisans, writers, artists, cultural activists... They are the ones who preserve and promote the cultural heritage of their ancestors, foster the culture with new literary and artistic values of the country, promote the cultural values of the land to the outside world, and create strong impressions of the Huong Ngu region in the hearts of tourists from all over the world.
