Artist Dang Thi Thu An is one of the prominent faces among the promising generation of 1980s artists from Hue. With works deeply characterized by traditional culture, especially depicting women figures and áo dài, she has contributed to creating a unique impression in contemporary Vietnamese painting.

Although he did not study art from a young age, Le Trung Kien quickly became one of the standout names among the young artists of the ancient capital city. Making an impression at the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Art Awards, Le Trung Kien, born in 1993, is one of the “young factors” that the “pillars” of the ancient capital’s artistic community believe will be the “sweet fruit” of Thua Thien Hue’s fine arts.

With more than 12 years holding the brush, Nguyen Dinh Viet (born in 1989, Ha Tinh) represented young Vietnamese artists to participate in the group exhibition at KTG Gallery in Hamburg, Germany (2015) and at @Art NewGen in Songkhla, Thailand (2021), leaving a good impression on local people and art collectors.

In mid-August 2024, the Center for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized the 2024 Creative Camp for 15 artists from Thua Thien Hue at the Nha Trang Art Creation House.

Experimental music, popularized around the mid-20th century, is a completely distinct genre that utilizes a method of sound blending, as well as a variety of unconventional, diverse, and novel instruments. Among more than 100 fine artworks with the theme "Fine Art Works - Collection of Hue Fine Arts Museum" being organized by Hue Fine Arts Museum at 15 Le LoiSt., Hue City, more than half are typical works of famous artists from the ancient capital or once associated with this land.
