On the morning of July 3, at the University of Sciences, Hue University, the closing and awarding ceremony of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2023 – Information Technology Innovation product competition for students of colleges and universities took place.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Provincial Study Promotion Association coordinated with Nguyen Chi Thanh Talent Promotion Scholarship Fund, the Department of Education and Training and Vietcombank – Hue branch held a ceremony to award to students winning high prizes in national and international competitions.

On the afternoon of March 6 at Hue Industrial College, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Vietnam Association for Vocational Education and Training and Social Work, together with universities and colleges held the debate competition on Green Traffic – Round for the Central Region.

Recently, the Open Data product of Thua Thien Hue province, the Provincial Center of Information Technology (HueCIT) won the second prize in the field of IT, Electronics and Telecommunications (no first prize) at the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Technical Creation Competition 2022.

Within the context of deepening economic integration and fierce competition, Thua Thien Hue has always actively grasped the current trends to improve the business investment environment and attract more investors. Having won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions, Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue City), has just won a silver medal at the 33rd International Biology Olympiad in 2022, held in Yerevan city, Armenia with the participation of 231 contestants from 63 countries and territories.

On the morning of July 4, at Ngo Mon Square (Hue City), the Ministry of Public Security and Thua Thien Hue Public Security opened the final round of the People's Public Security Regulations, Shooting and Martial Arts Competition 2022 in the southern region.

On December 7, the Provincial General Library held a closing and awarding ceremony for the 2021 children's competition on drawing from books, with the theme of "Reading books together".
