A host of environmental problems, urban embellishment, traffic pressure, and traffic network planning need radical and appropriate solutions. The face of a civilized and modern city is what the province is aiming for in the process of building a centrally-run city.

According to the leader of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the project of restoration and embellishment of Kien Trung Palace in the area of the Forbidden City of Hue Imperial Citadel, started in February 2019, is entering the finishing stage of decoration; and expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

On November 14, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong made a field trip to inspect the implementation of the project of embellishing the banks of the Huong River in combination with the wharf located along Bui Thi Xuan Park, and the project of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City). Accompanying him was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh.

After nearly 2 years of construction, the renovation - embellishment of revolutionary historical relic of Tri Thien Hue Party Committee tunnels (also known as Khe Trai tunnels in Huong Van ward, Huong Tra town) has been completed. This work is about 25 km in the northwest direction from Hue City.
