Speeding up urban embellishment projects

In his survey and inspection of the walking route of Bui Thi Xuan Park, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong said that the embellishment of the area along Bui Thi Xuan Park, combined with its serving as an access point for tourist boats and canoes, was absolutely necessary and in line with the orientation of the general landscape architecture of that area.

As the construction site has a relatively flat terrain, which is convenient for the construction, the deployment of the project's categories must guarantee the schedule to swiftly connect the area of Bui Thi Xuan Park and Da Vien Islet, creating a tourist attraction, and a visiting point for tourist boats and canoes travelling on the Huong River.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong requested that the implementation of the project must ensure the stability of the riverbed of the Huong River’s system, increase the capacity of flood drainage, and prevent riverbank erosion in the rainy season as well as greening and creating favorable environment for tourism development, limiting the damage caused by floods in the following years.

When checking the progress of the project of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong recognized the efforts of the construction unit during the implementation of the project. At the same time, he asked the construction unit to take advantage of favorable weather, and mobilize forces and vehicles so as to further accelerate the construction progress, ensuring that the pedestrian street would be put into operation on the occasion of the New Year 2023. Besides, the construction needs to ensure traffic safety and the convenience for residents, building an optimal and reasonable plan to ensure the quality of the construction, along with the urban landscape.
