Emerging in the late 19th century and early 20th century, jazz quickly spread worldwide, becoming a genre that has attracted diverse cultures in various countries, regions, and communities. It has evolved into a popular art form, connecting with cinema, sports, literature, and many other disciplines. However, in Vietnam, the jazz-listening community remains quite small, lacking widespread venues for the general public. In Hue, jazz is particularly young, both in terms of its audience and the community of musicians who play it.

The statue of the late musician Trinh Cong Son presented to the People’s Committee of Hue City by a businessman in Ho Chi Minh City has now been brought to the headquarters of Hue Green Park Center.

Through the photo exhibition themed “Trinh Cong Son - Meeting you again for the first time”, people with great affection for the late talented musician can meet him again in his every day and simple moments.

More than 300 love letters written by the renowned and talented musician Trinh Cong Son to his muse and deep love Dao Anh - will be handed over to the late musician’s family on Ms. Dao Anh’s next trip to Vietnam.

The Gac Trinh (Trinh Attic) Group (2012 - 2015) has just donated a painting by the late artist Dinh Cuong to Hue Museum of Fine Arts. The painting depicted his friend, the late musician Trinh Cong Son.

"Hue - Saigon - Hanoi" was the theme of Trinh Cong Son's music night taking place on the evening of June 27 at Ngo Mon Square. This was one of the highly anticipated programs at Hue Festival 2022 and was also a music night to celebrate the 21st anniversary of remembering Trinh Cong Son, organized by the family of the late musician.

For over the past decade, the talented Hue-born late musician, Trinh Cong Son, has always been back to his hometown in musical programs for community. This is a special most-welcomed event at each Hue Festival.

On the occasion of the 83rd birthday of Trinh Cong Son, the late musician, on February 28, the movie “Trinh and I” (Em và Trịnh) presented itself the MV “Crystal Sunshine” (Nắng thuỷ tinh) in the form of “stop motion” – the first of that kind in Vietnam.
