Although Hue is a land known for its numerous national-scale libraries and archives, the work of Tang Tho Lau (or Tang Thu Lau - Archive Pavilion) - also known as Lau Tang Tho (or Tang Thu), is still considered a rare “Treasure of the Ancients” of the monarchy period that has been remarkably preserved.

In 2023, from five to eight publications will be published for Hue Bookcase; and from seven to ten publications will be proposed to the publishing plan for Hue Bookcase in 2024. This information was announced on March 23 by the Provincial People's Committee, relating to the plan of "Establishing and developing Hue Bookcase" in 2023.

The training course aimed to meet the urgent needs of each locality and libraries in the current period; contribute to improving professional expertise in safe preservation and promotion of the value of documents stored at the library.

In the coming time, the library will add more titles with many topics, rich and diverse to update and promptly meet the needs of readers.

University libraries in Hue are focusing on digitizing documents, developing digital libraries and creating a friendly reading space to spark off and spread the reading culture among students.
