According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, during the three days of the Lunar New Year of the Cat in 2023, the Hue heritage site welcomed over 53,000 visitors on its free entrance policy.

On October 16th, after flood water receded, many tourists were able to to resume their visits to the Citadel and many other heritage sites.

The National Historic Site of Tri Thien Hue Party Committee (located in Huong Van Ward of Huong Tra Town) was inaugurated by the Provincial Museum of History on the morning of October 5th, after 2 years of renovation and restoration.

"75 years - Full of love" was the name of a photo exhibition on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27), organized by the Provincial Museum of History for two days July 27th and 28th at Chin Ham - the Nine Bunkers historical site (located in An Tay ward of Hue city).

On the afternoon of July 6, 13,365 candidates gathered at exam sites in the province to complete the procedures for the high school graduation exam. Many candidates said that they were ready mentally and equipped with knowledge for the exam.

On the morning of June 19, a great number of local people joined the program of ao dai parade with bicycles, riding through many heritage sites and beautiful streets of Hue City.

Expected to open to the public in July this year, on the 55th anniversary of General Nguyen Chi Thanh's death, General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (at 144 Dang Thai Than, Hue City) will be the site to exhibit photographs, documents and artifacts that introduce the General’s life of revolutionary activities.

The area of Thua Thien Hue passing through Huong Tra is truly a sequence of magical sites of heaven and earth. From low to high, the land starts from the sea, where the waves rumble, to the vast lagoon with the silver moon shining on the water, to the fertile plains of corn and rice, to the green midland at the foot of the mountain and the lush green hills ascending to high mountain peaks.
