On the morning of May 24th, Phu Loc Town Secondary School in Phu Loc District held a ceremony to obtain the recognition of its tropical almond tree as a Vietnamese heritage tree. The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Thang, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Association for Conservation of nature and environment.

On the morning of February 17th, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Principal of Phu Loc Town Secondary School (Phu Loc District), announced that the century-old tropical almond tree in the schoolyard has been recognized by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree.
