Hue Fine Arts Museum has just received a collection of precious artifacts related to traditional folk art from Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa, a collector and researcher, and Mr. Nam Chi, a folk painting artist.

Taking place within the framework of Hue Festival Week, "Royal Harmony" is an art program organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center on the evening of June 29 at Thai Hoa Palace. The program brought to the audience quiet moments when enjoying the harmony between traditional and modern timbre.

Dozens of art troupes with the participation of hundreds of domestic and foreign artists took featured dances, sang traditional songs... on many streets of Hue city, created a bustling atmosphere of street festival wherever they passing by.

From Japanese perspective, ningyo is a cultural ambassador that bring about various emotions. The making of ningyo is, therefore, a nourished traditional handicraft that displays the ingenuity of the artisan.

Hue’s artisans, being many in number, skilled, and dedicated to traditional occupations, have not only created many sophisticated and quality products but also contributed to preserving and developing traditional occupations over the past time.

From December 17th to 24th, Hue Museum of Fine Arts will participate in the exhibition "Vietnamese cultural heritages, landscapes and traditional handicrafts" to celebrate the national tourism year 2021 held in Hoa Lu district of Ninh Binh province.
