On the morning of February 22nd, at the tomb of Emperor Gia Long in Huong Tho commune, Hue city, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized a ceremony to launch the “Tet trong cay” (“Tree Planting Festival”) in the Year of Dragon 2024.

In response to the policy of planting 1 billion trees and celebrating Vietnam's Forestry Day (November 28th), in recent days, forestry units and forest owners have planted thousands of indigenous trees such as green ironwood, cycads, tarrietia javanica blume (huynh), golden oaks, etc. All these plants are able to adapt to climate change and prevent landslides very effectively.

After nearly a year of experimenting with the idea of ​​​​planting a Prunus Persica garden in the highland area from the call of "Giving the Tet Prunus Persica trees to A Luoi district instead of throwing them away". This Tet holiday, A Luoi Prunus Persica garden has blossomed, attracting the locals and visitors to visit and take photos.

On the days of late autumn and early winter, taking advantage of the sunny weather, a team of rangers and forestry experts carried many things into the remote forest of Sao La Nature Reserve (A Luoi District)… Not to investigate deforestation, not to set camera traps or to rescue animals, this time they embarked on a journey to seek native forest tree varieties from the natural forest in order to perform the mission of planting forest tree varieties and conserving rare genetic resources.
