On January 24, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Phan Ngoc Tho visited and presented gifts at some social protection facilities across the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of 2024, the Year of the Dragon.

A positive signal at the beginning of 2024 is that many travel companies have registered to bring cruise travel tourists to Chan May port. The remaining challenge is how to attract more high-end tourists to visit, experience, and “spend money” in Hue City.

Lunar New Year first day(s) is the peak period for tourism, which also marks the beginning of a new year. Currently, the provincial tourism sector, along with units and businesses are providing many services, ensuring interesting and safe experiences for visitors.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of the Hue Fine Arts Museum, announced on January 19th that the museum received nearly 60,000 visitors in 2023. In 2023, Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue welcomed more than 122,000 visitors to the museum, as well as the relics under its management.

On the morning of January 11, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting and discussion with Mr. Choi Sang Joo, Chairman of the KX Group (South Korea) on a visit and working trip to Hue City.
