Many competitions organized by Hue University have attracted thousands of contestants from both domestic and international backgrounds, contributing to the development of tourism.

With consistent participation and numerous prestigious awards in music competitions, coupled with frequent performances in artistic programs throughout Hue, Phan Huy Thanh, singer, has made a profound impact on audiences. Particularly, the songs about Hue performed by Phan Huy Thanh are vibrant and youthful, such as "Cơm hến" (Mussel Rice), "Trai Huế" (Hue Boys), "Nón" (Conical Hat)... truly bringing a breath of fresh air, contributing to spreading and elevating the imagery of the landscapes and people of Hue to the listeners.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Provincial Study Promotion Association coordinated with Nguyen Chi Thanh Talent Promotion Scholarship Fund, the Department of Education and Training and Vietcombank – Hue branch held a ceremony to award to students winning high prizes in national and international competitions.

Having won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions, Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue City), has just won a silver medal at the 33rd International Biology Olympiad in 2022, held in Yerevan city, Armenia with the participation of 231 contestants from 63 countries and territories.
