Thua Thien Hue has preserved many craft villages and handed down many unique traditional crafts. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just issued a decision to recognize “The Knowledge of Making and Wearing Hue Ao dai” of Thua Thien Hue Province as part of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This serves as an impetus for the Thua Thien Hue Garment Association to promote the introduction of the five-panel Ao dai into schools.

On April 22nd, Thua Thien Hue History Museum announced that as part of the activities for National Tourism Year 2024 and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) in Dien Bien, the museum has brought the exhibition “Hue - Cultural heritage, Potential destination” to the public.

Participating in the festival, Hue tourism industry focused on promoting its events and festivals of this year; especially the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 and a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music recognized as the world’s cultural intangible heritage.

Hue Festival 2022, with the highlight of Hue Festival Week themed "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development" taking place from June 25 to June 30, is an event in the first rank among 10 typical events in 2022 in the industry of culture, sports and tourism.

On April 30, the Thua Thien Hue provincial Stamp Association coordinated with the provincial Post Office to organize a Postage Stamps exhibition 2022.

In the framework of the exhibition “Vietnam cultural heritages, landscapes and traditional handicrafts” belonging to the National Tourism Year 2021 which is running from December 17 to 24 in Ninh Binh, Thua Thien Hue introduced the ao dai performance show named “The color of heritage” on December 18.
