As a routine, every Tuesday night at Ca Hue (Hue-Singing) Club belonging to Thua Thien Hue Culture, Information and Sports Center at 25 Le Loi Street, Excellent Artist Quynh Hoa comes early to burn splinters of agawood in a small urn placed on the performing mat. That is the dear and familiar image of Quynh Hoa in the hearts of club members and intimate audiences.

On October 25, a representative from Thua Thien Hue General Library announced that the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, has concluded and awarded prizes. Thua Thien Hue has won 3 prizes this year.

Nguyen Huu Thong, researcher, former Deputy Director of Hue Sub-Institute of Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts, made such assessment of the story of Hue garden houses during a seminar held on April 21st at An Nhien Garden space (Phu Thuong Ward, Hue City).

There is an entrepreneur holding dual nationality, with a French father and a mother from South Vietnam. She, though not a Hue woman, has been attached to Hue and strangely crazy about Hue for more than 20 years now. That is also why she transferred most of her cultural and artistic assets to Hue, devoting a luxurious and spacious space inherently for profitable business purposes to building a non-public museum of fine arts.

"Khúc Hương Bình" is a new book compilation of Ca Hue songs, newly introduced to the wide public by the Department of Culture and Sports.
