That was our dreamlike headline - nearly 20 years ago when we first learned about Amsterdam, a famous city in the Netherlands with the highest rate of cyclists globally. But now, the dream of Hue having 1 million bicycles – even if just a symbolic number – is gradually becoming a reality.

“Vietnam’s national name is the invaluable spiritual and sacred asset of the Vietnamese people; it is the pride of every citizen of Vietnam. Beautiful custard apple varieties from Thailand, Taiwan, and even our own Vietnamese sugar apples grown and cared for by Mr. Nguyen Quang My, the owner of Quang My Garden, will be supplied to the market in Hue during this Lunar New Year. These are the "sweet fruits" after 2 years of Mr. My's hard work in transforming the land of Huong Tra hills to grow fruit trees for commercial purposes.

That was what Ms. Aler Grubbs, Director of The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Vietnam, affirmed in a courtesy meeting with the Vice Permanent Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh on the afternoon of September 13.

With an aim to add more documents, photos and valuable resources of books to Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion), Hue Monuments Conservation Center launched a ceremony to donate and receive documents and books, etc., with the theme “The Imprint of Tang Tho Lau in Our Mind”.

The book has just been licensed to be published by Thuan Hoa Publishing House at the end of October 2021.
