The appellation Maypaperflower is now quite familiar to many paper flower lovers, not only in Hue but also in many provinces and cities at home and abroad. To bring paper flowers to many world countries, Phan Ngoc Hieu has overcome a journey full of hardships and challenges. Talking with Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, this young girl shared an energetic story about her dream of bringing paper flowers to the West.

The antique architectural constructions, the bridges which are inherent with the history of the Capital, as well as the traditional royal dances, or just simply the dragon boats, paper flower lanterns, etc., were described innocently but gracefully and meticulously and prettily on Ao dai by the children.

By the end of November to the early of December (the eleventh and twelfth month of lunar calendar), local people in Thanh Tien village, Phu Mau commune (Hue city) are busy making paper flowers to meet the demand of worship and decoration for Tet holiday.
