The Department of Tourism has reported that during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon), the number of tourists visiting Hue for sightseeing and experiences has significantly increased compared to that of the same period in 2023, with many accommodation facilities fully booked during the festive days.

Visitors to Hue in the summer season are greeted with the sight of fragrant lotus blossoms adorning Tinh Tam Lake, their white petals fluttering like delicate butterflies in the breeze. The gentle and refreshing fragrance of lotus permeates the surroundings, and a passing encounter with this scene instantly uplifts one's spirits.

That is not only a 'slogan' of Hue Eye Hospital but also the goal and dedication for nearly 40 years of the Excellent Doctor, Specialist Level 2, Doctor Pham Minh Truong. He is also the first ophthalmologist in Vietnam to receive the title of "Hero in the prevention of blindness" by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) in 2017.

Not only doing sightseeing, visiting beautiful landscapes, enjoying food and exchanging cultures, tourists who choose volunteer tourism also receive sincere feelings, love and unforgettable memories when coming to Hue.

The unique feature of the bus is roofless, thanks to that, visitors will have a chance to experience the scenery of Hue City, which is ancient, fresh and green, familiar but also strange.

On the morning of August 27, Vietnam - Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company cooperated with the Provincial Department of Tourism to organize an experience trip to explore Hue City by a convertible double-decker bus for visitors, as well as media and press agencies.

The people lining up in a long procession solemnly bringing the Holy Mother through the central streets of Hue city created a colorful, but dignified and reverent sight. On both sides of the road, tourists and Hue people stood watching attentively, because it has been a long time since such an event has been held.

With the aim of turning Hue into a "City of bike", by the end of this April, 2022, Hue City People’s Committee collaborates with German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and VIETSOFTPRO Joint Stock Company (VPS) to conduct a pilot program of public shared bike service in the central areas of the city.

After more than 50 years, the road procession of Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) was re-enacted, starting from Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Place (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) to Nghinh Luong Dinh before boarding the boat to sail upstream to the temple. The long procession with more than 400 people going through the streets created an impressive sight, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to attend.

I was invited to take a ‘Green Hue’ sightseeing trip. Standing on Gia Vien bridge and look northwards on a sunny day, I saw River Huong was supported with different colors: yellow of the Golden Shower tree, scarlet of the Flamboyant, velvet of the crape-myrtle, blue of the sky and green of water. It made me think of a picture of happiness and well-being in the deep memory of more than thirty years: Sinh paintings.

The Nhat Binh ao dai is a precious heritage of the Nguyen Dynasty, it has now become a popular dress of Hue women on the occasion of wedding, and been increasingly chosen by young girls when going sightseeing, and checking in, etc.
