Pilgrimage Village wins ASEAN Green Hotel Award 2018

5-star Pilgrimage Village Boutique Resort & Spa Hue
According to Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Pilgrimage Village (130 Minh Mang street, Hue city) is one of five Vietnam representatives presented with the ASEAN Green Hotel Award 2018 at the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2018 (ATF 2018) taking place from January 22 to 26, 2018 in Chiang Mai, ThaiLand.
This is ASEAN’s noble award, contributing to honoring and developing enterprises’ brand names as well as high quality tourism products and services in the area.
Initially initiated in 2007, the standard of ASEAN Green Hotel includes 11 criteria on which the members are unanimous: environmental policy and actions for hotel operation; use of green products; collaboration with the community and local authorities; human resource development; solid waste management; energy efficiency; water efficiency; air quality management (indoor and outdoor); noise pollution control; waste water treatment and management; toxic and chemical substance disposal management.
