Recognizing A Nôr village a community ecotourism destination

TTH.VN - On October 6, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee issued a decision to recognize A Nôr village the community ecotourism destination. A Nôr village is located in Dut 1 Hamlet, Hong Kim Commune, A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province.

The community ecotourism of A Nôr village is over 60km away from Hue city and 3km away to the northeast of A Luoi district center. A Nôr village is a community-based tourism type combined with ecotourism and relaxation, and experiencing the culture of ethnic minorities.

The destination of A Nôr village community ecotourism

Located not too far from the village is A Nôr waterfall with 3 waterfalls of different heights, still maintaining the wild features which are suitable for tourists coming to experience many activities such as stream bathing, discovering mountains, and going on vacation at weekends.

At present, there are 4 households doing homestay business in A Nôr village, with the scale of being able to welcome over 30 guests staying overnight and serve local specialties food. There are also 24 stalls serving food and beverage for tourists in the area around the waterfall. Free Wi-Fi connection is also available for tourists staying at the homestays.

According to the provisions of the Law of Tourism 2017, A Nôr village community ecotourism reaches 3/3 conditions to receive the recognition including: having tourism resources; having a definite boundary on the topographic map confirmed by the competent authorities (the mapping rate depends on the management and terrain requirements); having essential infrastructure and services for serving tourists; and meeting the demand for security, social order, social safety, and environmental protection.
