Setting to work on 368 million USD Minh Vien - Lang Co international tourist area
TTH.VN - On the afternoon of December 29, Minh Vien International Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony of the project of Minh Vien-Lang Co international tourist area (6 Miles Coast resort) in Lang Co town (Phu Loc).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Tran Quang Chau, Chairman of Minh Vien International Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Asia-European Golf Association.

Constructed on the 102 hectare-wide area, the total investment of the project is 368 million USD, including the systems of hotel, resort, conference center and 5-star auxiliary services. According to the plan, the project will be finished and come into operation in the first quarter of 2024, in which the first phase of this project will be finished and put into operation by the end of 2019 with the total investment of over 1,000 billion VND.
With the message “Together with the world to enjoy the beauty of Lang Co bay”, the 6 Miles Coast resort is a multi-services tourist area with international level constructed by the investor with 25 years of experience in building resorts and tourist services in the world. It is expected to bring to Lang Co Bay an impressive tourist destination, contributing to creating a new look for Chan May - Lang Co economic zone; helping to create motivation for the socio-economic development and attract tourists to Hue.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho congratulated and highly appreciated the investor’s efforts in implementing investment procedures for the project as well as the support of local departments and authority in the work of compensation and premise clearance to set to work the project. This will create the motivation for Chan May - Lang Co economic zone to continue to attract more new investment projects with national and international statures to attract domestic and international tourists to come to Lang Co bay in particular and to Thua Thien Hue in general.
