Twenty GCOO electric bikes delivered and put into operation at Gia Long Mausoleum
TTH.VN - On April 15th, Gbike Co., Ltd. (Viet PM) in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a ceremony to hand over and put into operation 20 GCOO electric bikes at Gia Long Mausoleum. At the same time, technology transfer, and supplementary services such as the GCOO bike-sharing technology application, electric charging, and bike maintenance were also provided.

The goal of the cooperation program is to build green and environmentally friendly transportation infrastructure at relic sites in order to actively contribute to the green energy transition of Hue City. This is also part of the action plan to establish sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism infrastructure in Hue heritage complex. Thereby, it will contribute to achieving the goal of net zero emissions in Vietnam by 2025, in accordance with the overall economic development orientation of Thua Thien Hue province for the period 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050, in which the development of green transportation infrastructure is of interest to the province and will be focused on investment in the coming time.
Previously, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Gbike agreed to strengthen cooperation in building sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism infrastructure at the main tourist attractions in Hue Citadel Relic Complex.

According to Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the goal of the cooperation is to exploit tourism services, promote the value of Hue heritage, create a sustainable, effective, and environmentally friendly transportation environment, and contribute to the development of the green transportation system not only at the relic sites but also for the whole Hue city of.
Gbike (Gbike Co., Ltd.), a micromobility tech company, is a Korean company currently developing the GCOO, the largest micromobility sharing service in the Asian market. Gbike is operating over 100,000 personal vehicles and providing services not only in Korea but also in the US, Thailand and is looking to expand strongly in Vietnam.
Viet PM (Viet Personal Mobility Co., Ltd.) is a company specializing in maintenance/repair/operation established by Gbike in Vietnam to support sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism activities, introduce smart mobility technology to support the vision for the Hue Green Smart City project.
