Connecting Japanese investors to Hue

TTH.VN - On the morning of March 5th, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Vice Chairman, Nguyen Thanh Binh, had a meeting with Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang.

During the meeting, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, expressed his joy and gratitude for the warm reception from the provincial leaders and departments during his official visit to Thua Thien Hue.

Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori highly appreciated the province's potentials and advantages in socio-economic development. With these potentials and strengths, Thua Thien Hue had attracted many Japanese businesses to explore opportunities and cooperate in investment. Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori hoped that in the future, the cooperation between Thua Thien Hue and Japanese localities will not only focus on economic and cultural areas but also expand to various other fields.

Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, also mentioned that he will continue to promote exchanges and cooperation in investment and trade between Japan and Thua Thien Hue. He particularly emphasized interest in supporting human resource training, connectivity, and enhancing tourism development between Japanese partners and Thua Thien Hue province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh expressed gratitude for the interest and support from the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang during his tenure. He also highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between Japan and Thua Thien Hue, especially in terms of connectivity and support across various sectors.

Mr. Binh stated that Thua Thien Hue regularly conducts exchange activities and cooperation with Japanese localities and has achieved many good results in various fields such as tourism development, cultural exchange, people-to-people diplomacy, etc. He affirmed that Japan is an important partner of Thua Thien Hue and expressed the desire to further comprehensive cooperation with Japanese partners. This includes strengthening cooperation in cultural and artistic exchanges, especially during the Hue Festivals, preservation programs, and promoting the value of cultural-historical heritage to enhance exchanges, understanding, and promotion of the local cultural tourism potential.

Mr. Binh hopes that Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, will continue to show interest and support for Thua Thien Hue in introducing and promoting information about the province to Japanese partners, corporations, and business associations; and, at the same time, to connect Japanese investors and businesses with capabilities to cooperate and invest in the province in areas where Japan has strengths, and to promote direct flight connections with cities in Japan.
