Recently, Thua Thien Hue has received programs and projects funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through both German non-governmental organizations and non-German non-governmental organizations, with a total committed capital of 8 million USD. This support mainly focuses on the fields such as mine clearance and community development, heritage conservation, environmental protection in response to climate change, supporting vulnerable groups in society, and enhancing capacity in education and training.

At the same time, she hoped that in the future, the governments of Germany and Vietnam in general, and Thua Thien Hue province in particular, would increase their cooperation in a variety of areas, supporting research and training activities with cooperative agencies and universities.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Binh wished to increase cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in order to support member universities of Hue University in training and developing human resources. He also emphasized the need to promote exchange activities, exchange lecturers and students, exchange research results through the co-organization of seminars and conferences between the teaching department and the university; and support training for young researchers and graduate students.
