Mr. Mitani Tadateru, CEO of Mitani Sangyo Company, said at the meeting that Mitani Sangyo was a Japanese commercial - technical conglomerate with a history extending over 90 years. Currently, the group has 20 subsidiaries in Japan and 7 ones in Vietnam.
In Vietnam, the group operates in various sectors, including production and sale of chemicals, supplements, automobile component manufacturing, information technology, construction software development, human resource management, and business operations, employing over 4,000 personnel. In Thua Thien Hue province, there are currently 2 branch offices of 2 Mitani Sangyo's subsidiaries in operation.
Mr. Mitani Mitsuru also shared more details on the upcoming Aureole Conference 2023, which will be held in Hue. He stated that previous conferences were normally held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, but that this year's meeting will be hosted for the first time in Thua Thien Hue province. Along with valuing history and traditional culture, Mitani Sangyo Group recognizes that Hue is very active in investing in information technology, human resource development, and emerging industries.
The Group expressed the desire for the province to facilitate it in doing research, seeking partnerships to associate and cooperate within the province area to develop specific areas which are of expertise of the company.
Vice Chairman Hoang Hai Minh affirmed that Mitani Sangyo Group's strengths in technology, finance, international market networks, and business management skills when being combined with the advantages of Thua Thien Hue will bring realistic development for both sides. Thua Thien Hue pledges to always accompany the businesses, ready to create the most favourable conditions for manufacturing and business operations of investors, including Japanese investors.
The province will facilitate the Group to continue exploring and researching investment opportunities in its areas of strength, such as investing in the construction of pharmaceutical production plants in Chan May Lang Co Economic Zone and establishing high-tech processing plants for products from white sand to serve the electronics industry and information technology.
The Vice Chairman also hopes that Mitani Sangyo Group would show interest and explore opportunities for cooperation in recruiting trainees from Thua Thien Hue and the Central Vietnam region to work at Mitani Sangyo Group or other Japanese companies.
