Orientation for career in the Federal Republic of Germany

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of December 23rd, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University in collaboration with the Vietnam-German Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue province organized the event “Study abroad and Career orientation in the Federal Republic of Germany.”

Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany officially established diplomatic relations on September 23rd, 1975. To date, this relationship has marked a milestone of 48 years.

The University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University has a strong and long-standing relationship with partners from the Federal Republic of Germany. Through the DAAD scholarship fund of the German Academic Exchange Service, many faculty members and alumni of the university were able to study and conduct research at prestigious institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany. Additionally, numerous memoranda of understanding have been signed, creating opportunities for academic and healthcare workforce exchanges between the two countries.

The Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy collaborates with various partners in Germany annually to organize short-term training courses and in-depth medical training in various fields.

The university is also involved in several cooperative projects with the Federal Republic of Germany, such as the PACE-UP project, collaborative research projects with the University of Tübingen, the Vietnamese-German Center for Medical Research, and with the Bernhard Nocht Institute of Tropical Medicine.

The university also has extensive relationships with the German Academic Exchange Service, the Goethe-Institute Hanoi, the International Career Development Support Center in Germany, and the Vietnam-Germany Cooperation Center (TRABI) in Vietnam, facilitating connections with German universities to provide training nursing with two parallel degrees and German language training in Hue.

Through the event, participants can explore study abroad opportunities, learn about career opportunities, become a graduate student and work as a nurse in the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition, it also commenced the course of German language training and nursing degree conversion – Course 2, as well as sharing the German language learning experiences of previous generations.

The event provides an opportunity for many officials and students of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy to connect with one another, who have participated in short and long-term exchange programs in the Federal Republic of Germany. Participants also have the chance to explore cultural and culinary booths showcasing the distinctive features of Germany.
