President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Tran Dai Quang chairs 4 events at APEC 2017 High-Level Meeting

TTH.VN - On the morning of November 6, APEC 2017 High-Level Meeting with the theme "Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future” officially opened in Da Nang city and takes place until November 11.

According to the organization board, Vietnam is ready to welcome the leaders of APEC member economies and more than 10,000 delegates representing international organizations, businesses, youth and the media. The leaders of 21 APEC member economies all affirmed that they will take part in APEC 2017 High-Level Meeting. President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Tran Dai Quang will chair and join in main events of APEC 2017 High-Level Meeting including: the APEC Economic Leaders' Dialogue with the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) and the Informal High Level Dialogue between APEC and ASEAN on November 10; official Reception of APEC Economic Leaders, wives/husbands, and a reception party, art performance welcoming the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting on the night of November 10; the 25th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting on November 11. The President will deliver the opening speech for the APEC Business High-Level Summit, taking place from November 8 to 10.

First Lady Nguyen Thi Hien will chair the program of wives and husbands of APEC 2017 economic leaders on November 11 in Hoi An city, Quang Nam Province and Da Nang city. Vietnam will also hold the Vietnam Business Summit with the attendance and opening speech of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on November 7. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh will co-chair the 29th APEC Ministerial Meeting on November 8. Chairman of APEC 2017 Senior Officials Meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son will chair the APEC Concluding Senior Officials' Meeting from November 6 to 7.

On this occasion, ABAC Meeting also takes place from November 4 to 6, and APEC Voices of the Future takes place from November 6 to 10.
