Screening 13 films in European Film Festival in Hue

TTH.VN - The European Film Festival will take place from November 17 to 26 at Dong Ba theatre (187 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hue city). The tickets will be distributed free of charge there from October 14.

The European Film Festival aims to bring to Vietnamese audiences in general and Hue audiences in particular the excellent films from Europe, which is the birthplace of the Seventh art, and it is also a cradle of many prestigious international film festivals. The festival expresses the rich cinematographic heritage, the diversified culture and the contemporary creation of Europe.

According to the information from the Delegation of European Union in Vietnam, the 19th European Film Festival will take place from November 16 to 29, 2018 in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat and Hue.

This year, the festival will screen 13 films centering on the theme “Family”, expressing the different aspects and stories in the family lives of European people. Especially, with many films receiving honorable international prizes for various objects of audiences, from children, teenagers to adults, the festival is expected to bring to the audiences loving Vietnamese cinematography the interesting experiences.

Being held by the Delegation of European Union in Vietnam in collaboration with EU Member States Embassy and European Cultural Center in Vietnam, the European Film Festival is recognized as one of the most successful multicultural events in Vietnam, contributing to creating the link between the people of Europe and Vietnam.
