The Culture and Sports sector will conduct a comprehensive cultural heritage inventory in the province within 2 years from 2021 to 2022 in order to promptly protect and prevent the gradual disappearance and permanent loss of valuable heritages. This is hoped to somehow preserve and promote the value of Hue cultural heritage.
The inventory lists works and landmarks with historical and cultural values, hand crafts, festivals, music and traditional performing arts; cuisines; documentary on heritage as well as relics and antiques in historical monuments and museums.
The complete inventory aims to form sound scientific basis for historical relic ranking of typically selected heritages such as cultural relics and landscapes to be listed in the list of national cultural heritage. This is also an urgent task to provide sufficient grounds for building a set of criteria on heritage municipality with the province’s distinct characteristics.
