More than 700 entries participated in “Thua Thien Hue in me” writing contest
TTH.VN - On the morning of December 21, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations held an awarding ceremony of the writing contest “Thua Thien Hue in me” in 2022.
The first prize is awarded to Trinh Minh Hieu, a student at Hue High School for the Gifted, Hue University of Sciences
The writing contest "Thua Thien Hue in me" is organized by the Union of Literature and Arts Associations in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training for high school students. The contest aims to evoke emotions, thoughts and stories about the culture, nature and the people of Thua Thien Hue.
After more than 6 months of launching, the contest received 720 entries; in which, 41 quality articles were selected as finalists and 11 excellent articles were awarded. The first prize was awarded to Trinh Minh Hieu, a student at Hue High School for the Gifted, Hue University of Sciences.
According to Mr. Ho Dang Thanh Ngoc, the writer, Chairman of the Union of Literary and Art Associations, the articles show that the students have realized that their homeland is a precious thing that every human being is indispensable to the path of growing up and reaching adulthood.
Their writings are directed towards their homeland with respect and love. Thereby, they realize that building, protecting and promoting the good traditions of their homeland and the country are their duty and sacred responsibility.
