Uprace community running race for students launched
On October 31, the Uprace community running race for students of Hue University in 2021 officially started.

The race is organized by Hue University Student Association in collaboration with the GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation Center (GreenViet), to encourage sportsmanship in young people, and at the same time, contribute to raising funds for 10,000 trees of the program "One million urban green trees" that GreenViet is implementing.
Uprace is a free community running event on web/mobile platforms. With the number of valid kilometers of participants, sponsors will contribute 1,000 VND/km to Vietnamese social activities.
All of the officials, lecturers, pupils and students of schools and units of Hue University can participate in the event. After downloading the "UPRACE" application, registering for an account and following the instructions of the organizers, the athlete selects a running location that is suitable for personal conditions. The living area is recommended, to avoid crowded places and strictly follow the Government's regulations on social isolation to prevent disease.
During the 22 days of participating in the race, registered athletes with a minimum of 12 valid running days and a total distance of at least 60km will receive a certificate from the tournament organizers. At the same time, the Secretariat of Hue University Student Union will issue e-certificates to the athletes who gain achievements.
The race lasts until Nov. 21. At the end of the event, the organizers will award collective and individual prizes to the teams and athletes with good results.
