| The representatives visiting the row of stone benches arranged to serve locals and tourists in the area of Dong Ba Market |
According to Vietnam Grab LLC, in the framework of the project, Grab is to install a total of 50 stone benches, including 20 at Dong Ba Market, 10 along Phu Mong Street, and 20 others at Hue Imperial Citadel. Each bench is numbered and displayed on Grab application when users select corresponding public destinations. This allows locals and visitors to easily identify meeting points, while also facilitating better communication between users and Grab drivers.
The accompanying and partnership between Vietnam Grab LLC and Tourism Department aims to create favorable conditions and provide places for locals and tourists to stop by, relax, and enjoy beautiful sceneries when coming to Hue. Vietnam Grab Company hopes that this project will not only contribute to the work of urban embellishment and beautifying public spaces in Hue City but also add more new highlights to city’s tourism. These relaxation spots offer convenience for locals and tourists when visiting the destinations, including Hue Imperial Citadels, Dong Ba Market, and the area near the Perfume River’s banks, and parks, etc.
Since the end of 2023, Grab has also installed over 300 stone benches with the same design in many other cities, such as Vung Tau, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, and Nha Trang. These projects are considered part of Grab’s effort to join hands in developing public amenities and contribute to promoting tourism in Vietnam.
