Shopping has become one of the drives for the trips of many tourists. Together with traditional markets in Hue, the establishment of Aeon Mall Hue will promote the growth of shopping tourism and encourage travel businesses to incorporate shopping into their tours for visitors.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just issued a decision to recognize “The Knowledge of Making and Wearing Hue Ao dai” of Thua Thien Hue Province as part of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This serves as an impetus for the Thua Thien Hue Garment Association to promote the introduction of the five-panel Ao dai into schools.

In 2024, as the leader of the tourism development partnership among five localities in Central Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue province will propose and implement various solutions to enhance the effectiveness of collaboration, promote tourism, and contribute to the development of the smoke-free industry.

In 2023, the five localities have promoted tourism linkage and achieved many positive results, especially in product development and tourism promotion. The affiliated group has jointly done promotions at international tourism fairs and organized introduction programs in other countries.

In recent years, Hue tourism has been quite successful with a new type of tourism - sports tourism, especially running tournaments. However, Hue is a land that can develop other types of tourism, and music tourism is the great potential that needs to be awakened.

Many localities in the province are actively organizing photo contests and making video clips to promote Hue’s tourism and introduce its beautiful images of Hue culture, civilized lifestyle, environmental landscapes, and friendly Hue people who warmly welcome visitors and friends from both domestic and international destinations.

On May 19th, the People's Committee of Phu Loc District organized a conference to promote and attract investment in tourism in 2023.
