Building smart cities based on distinctive features and advantages

The conference aimed to look back on the achievements of the project over the past two years and to promote cooperation with stakeholders in building sustainable smart cities in Vietnam.

5 European universities and 6 Vietnamese universities have cooperated in running this Sustainable Alliance of Urban Networks in Asian Cities (SAUNAC). The project activities aimed to build the capacity of Vietnamese universities and other stakeholders. Thereby, these activities provided them with the tools to create a shift in Vietnam through a number of trainings for experts and students to build radical solutions for smart and sustainable cities.

Within the framework of the conference, delegates spent time discussing, presenting ideas to reach a common voice, directing research and connecting to building the development strategies that are suitable to local conditions.
