Products at the cooperation trading platform with the e-commerce application to be promoted and approached to customers
According to Mr. Duong Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, Vietnam is currently considered one of the fastest-growing e-commerce markets in the Southeast Asia, with an average annual growth rate of more than 25%. The remarkable growth of e-commerce has made Vietnam one of the most potential markets in the ASEAN region.
In Thua Thien Hue Province, with the aim of creating a favorable commercial trading environment via digital platforms to support "the Association’s members to use each other's products and services", as well as to support the consumption and promotion of brands and products of the business community in the province to the consumers, from the beginning of the first quarter of 2021, the Provincial Business Association has promoted the establishment of the Association's e-commerce trading platform.
The e-commerce trading platform has received the supports from the Provincial Department of Information and Communication, the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Thua Thien Hue Smart City Monitoring and Control Center, VNPT Thua Thien Hue, and related units (support on the platform of Hue-S, and support for electronic engineering by VNPT). Up to now, the preparation work in terms of legal procedures, as well as the technical applications needed to manage the operation of the e-commerce trading platform has basically been completed.
At the seminar, enterprises, the Association’s members, and entrepreneurs were given the introduction about the overview of the e-commerce trading platform, the management regulations, operating methods, and full details of the benefits of the buyers, the sellers, and connections within the trading platform, as well as the membership registration process.
The Association's e-commerce trading platform is expected to be officially announced by the province as an agenda in the series of events of "The digital transformation week for socio-economic development of the province", which is going to be held in April, aiming to comprehensively promote socio-economic sectors of the province through the digital transformation environment.
