Green - Smart - Mobility Joint Stock Company to put 250 electric taxies into operation

Electric taxi service of GSM is available in Hue

This is the first type of pure electric taxi available in Vietnam, with the brand name of SM Green Taxi using VF5, Vf234 (Green Car Taxies) and VF8 (Luxury Car). This mean of vehicles is noiseless and environmental-friendly. On April 14, 2023, this type of car was officially put into operation in Ha Noi and satisfied locals there.

At this time, GSM is recruiting and organizing methodical training in English and the way to join the professional taxi service for drivers with an aim to guide them how to help passengers get the good experiences and satisfy them when using this taxi service in Thua Thien Hue.

Previously, on April 24, GSM had a working session with provincial leaders to propose the registration of pure electric taxi operation in Thua Thien Hue. At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong assigned related departments and agencies to coordinate with GSM to carry out the survey and assessment to offer appropriate solutions according to the scales and contents suggested by GSM; at the same time, supporting and creating favorable conditions for promoting the suitable research and orientation for GSM’ investment in operation in Thua Thien Hue.

Electric taxi is one of advanced solutions bringing huge benefit to the community, contributing to reducing air pollution; being suitable to the orientation of constructing and developing Thua Thien Hue on the basis of heritage, biology, scenery, environmental friendliness, etc.
